Courses are the best and fastest way to learn the technical side of blogging. SEO, social media management, writing…us bloggers wear a lot of hats! I’ve taken a number of courses to help up my blogging game. Some were helpful, others not so much. To help you narrow down what blogging courses you’d like to invest in, here are my favorites!

The Business of Travel Blogging – Superstar Blogging

* Superstar Blogging has recently changed their courses and now offers only two: How to Become a Travel Writer and The Business of Blogging*

It’s no secret that Nomadic Matt is the top dog in the travel blogging industry. However, he doesn’t keep his methods a secret! His course, The Business of Travel Blogging, was the very first course I ever took.

The Business of Travel Blogging, as the name implies, is specifically for the travel niche. However, this course dives deep into the basics of starting your blog, reaching out to brands, SEO, and social media management. I never would have gotten my website up and running without the in-depth guides!

Working hard on my blog with online courses!

Another major bonus to this course is the community that you can join! Students of Superstar Blogging courses have access to a job opportunities board, a private Facebook group, and even a tech specialist if you make a big “oopsie” on your blog. (I’ve contacted this angel MULTIPLE times now). I highly recommend this course if you are just starting out, especially if you need tech help!

Pinterest with Ell – Boss Girl Bloggers

It’s no secret that Pinterest is a biggie for bloggers in every niche. You may have even found this article on Pinterest or another article that convinced you to become a blogger! However, Pinterest can seriously make you want to pull your hair out while trying to figure it out.

I invested in Boss Girl Bloggers’ Pinterest course, and it was some of the best money I ever spent. The in-depth instruction took me from 2k monthly views on Pinterest to nearly 300k in a few short months! Ell teaches you how to utilize affiliate marketing via Pinterest and gain some serious income revenue and traffic using only Pinterest marketing.

Mastering Sales with Ell – Boss Girl Bloggers

Yet another incredible course from Boss Girl Bloggers is her Affiliate Marketing course. This course was gifted to me by Ell to try before she released the course for purchase, and I’ve gotta say, I absolutely loved it!

Ell breaks down not only how to sign up and work for affiliates, but how to seamlessly incorporate affiliate links in your articles, pitch to brands, and even how to create your own digital products. If you’re looking to make a full-time income blogging, I highly suggest this course!

Masterclass

Masterclass is an online platform that hosts hundreds of courses, from cooking to entrepreneurship. I received a year-long Masterclass membership for Christmas last year, and I’ve DEFINITELY taken advantage of it.

There are courses to boost your blogging skills including subjects such as advertising, negotiation, storytelling, and business ownership. There are also loads of courses that will help niche bloggers including various cooking and baking courses, gardening, and even filmmaking for those wanting to delve into vlogging or video storytelling. It’s an excellent platform to experiment with and develop new skills!

Ubersuggest

Ubersuggest is an online resource that helps you find the best keywords to increase your SEO score with Google. The site also has dozens of training courses for SEO, Facebook marketing, Instagram growth, and affiliate marketing. You can use the bare basics of Ubersuggest for free, but I highly suggest getting a paid membership for unlimited keyword searches and access to these courses.

Other Online Blogging Courses

There are hundreds of courses out there that promise results that, well, don’t always live up to their promises. I will continuously update this article as I find, and take, blogging courses that actually helped me!

What are some of your favorite courses? Let me know!
